Terapia Infantile

Spesso vengo contattata da genitori di bambini, anche molto piccoli (4/5 anni), che presentano una qualche difficoltà e che mi chiedono un aiuto terapeutico. Il mio pensiero in questi casi è che sia assolutamente opportuna ed indicata la terapia familiare, ossia un intervento che non si concentri solo sul piccolo in questione ma su tutto il contesto familiare (genitori, fratelli...) in cui il sintomo del bimbo nasce e si manifesta. Io non ho questo tipo di specializzazione ma posso fornire il riferimento di validi colleghi che si occupano di questo settore di terapia. Un bambino piccolo deve essere osservato e aiutato nel suo contesto familiare, in cui trascorre gran parte del suo tempo. Tutti i membri famiglia devono impegnarsi nell'aiutarlo e devono impegnarsi a comprendere cosa del loro comportamento (spesso involontario e in buona fede) incentiva una difficoltà nel bimbo. Interventi individuali che non prevedano un trattamento familiare a mio avviso sono parziali e non risolutivi perché escludono un pezzo importantissimo della loro vita. Io personalmente prendo in carico in terapia individuale solo bambini a partire dai 10 anni età, incontrando con regolarità anche i genitori in incontri comuni.  |
